# Terms of Service for Your Whey Fitness

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Your Whey Fitness
application and its optional Shared Account service (together, the "Service").
By accepting these Terms or using the Shared Account service, you agree to them.
If you do not agree, do not create or continue a Shared Account. App-store terms
may also apply.

## 1. The local app

The app is usable entirely offline with no account. Local data is yours and
lives on your device. You are responsible for your own backups. The Backup &
Transfer feature produces a file you choose where to keep; creating a new backup
requires a paid entitlement, while restoring from a backup file is free and
requires no entitlement.

## 2. Optional Shared Account

Creating a Shared Account is optional and separate from using the app. You are
responsible for the accuracy of the identity you present and for keeping access
to your sign-in method.

## 3. Participation in Teams, organizations and managed Locations

When you join one:

- You grant its administrators visibility of your display name, account
  identifier and participation state.
- Records you generate under it — attendance, submitted results, assigned
  programmes — form part of that group's operating record and are retained
  accordingly. Leaving ends forward participation; it does not retract records
  already produced.
- You remain responsible for content you submit.

## 4. Obligations of organizations and administrators

An operator of a Team, organization or managed Location:

- May act only within the authority the platform grants for that exact
  participant, group and action. An invitation or a dashboard does not by itself
  confer that authority.
- Must treat a single-purpose link issued for a step that does not require
  signing in — a co-present youth confirmation, a waiver finalization, a public
  dashboard — as a credential, because holding it is what authorizes that step.
- Must have lawful basis for enrolling any participant, and must hold guardian
  authority before enrolling a dependent or supervised minor.
- Is responsible for the content it publishes to participants and for moderating
  user-generated content within its Locations.

## 5. Paid capabilities

Some capabilities require an entitlement purchased through the platform store.
Purchases, refunds and cancellations follow the store's terms. Entitlement state
determines availability; restoring a backup never requires an entitlement.

## 6. Acceptable use

Do not use the product to harass another participant, to submit content you lack
rights to, to misrepresent authority over another person, or to attempt access
beyond what your role grants.

## 7. Health and fitness notice

Your Whey Fitness is a fitness tool, not a medical device. Nothing it produces —
including training-impact credit, fitness score, achievements or programme
suggestions — is medical advice or a clinical assessment. Consult a qualified
professional before beginning or changing a training programme.

## 8. Availability

Shared features depend on a hosted service and may be unavailable. The local app
continues to function without it. No uptime commitment is made in this version.

## 9. Changes

These Terms replace `terms-of-service-v1`, which described the product's shared
features as not live. Material changes ship as a new numbered version with a new
digest and a re-acceptance prompt. Prior acceptance records are retained rather
than overwritten.
